Call Senator Bill Harris and Demand Voinovich Answer to Ohio

Call or write to the President of the Ohio Senate, Senator Bill Harris, and demand that he subpoena Ohio U.S. Senator George Voinovich to appear before the Ohio Senate and explain to the State of Ohio why he has absolutely no knowledge about the laws he is enacting, his total disregard for the security of Ohio and the United States, and the rule of law.

It is within the purview of the Ohio Senate to require Senator Voinovich to appear before that chamber since each U.S Senator is the representative of the State of Ohio. While U.S. Senators are elected by the citizenry, they are the State’s representative in the U.S. Congress, and fully accountable to the State of Ohio.

It is incumbent that before the U.S. Senate moves any further down the road of giving amnesty to over 12 million illegal aliens our State has the opportunity address the myriad of issues confronting our state and nation. The only way that this issue will be fully addressed is for our U.S. Senators to appear before the Ohio Senate and explain the bill in its entirety. Likewise I call for Senator Harris to subpoena U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown before the Ohio Senate and explain the same.

This issue is the most tantamount issue facing our country and will have a massive impact on every level of government. It is too important to be hastily fashioned behind closed doors in the U.S Senate. It must be exposed to the light of day, and the light of day is the Ohio Senate. Please call or write Senator Harris today.

Excellent post, Sir! I would venture a guess that Georgie would find some excuse such as working on a "get out of Iraq" speech or crying over how badly we treat the UN for trying to weasel out of a visit to Columbus.

Just today he couldn't even explain, let alone provide a cogent opinion on the fairness Doctrine on Hannity show.

Do we really expect him to read a piece of legislation like the Amnesty Bill? The old man knows nothing about the bill. He proved it today.

If Sen Harris succeeds in getting him to Columbus, he ought to be made to answer for his misrepresentation of the Buckeye state.

We just have to let these folks know in the Statehouse that they do have power. And they must understand that Voinovich and Brown are beneath them, not the other way around.
